Autograph musical quotation from the composer, organist and conductor who was also a Austrian Friar Minor and Catholic priest, on a postcard of Pompeii. Hartmann has penned a short theme of two measures in E minor, marked piano. At the right side, he has signed P. Hartmann, O. F. M., and dated Rome, November 18, 1904. On the verso, the postcard is addressed to the Argentinian collector Ramona Imaz Otaño. One large crease and some smudges; overall in very good condition. 5.5 x 3.5 inches (13.6 x 8.9 cm).
