Signed halftone photograph of the Chilean-born ballerina and the Danish dancer and choreographer, taken from a concert program of the American Ballet Theatre. Each has signed boldly in blue pen and the signatures have been dated in the collector's hand: December 12, 1956 and January 4, 1957. Small tear at the right edge and some mounting remnants on the verso; overall in fine condition. 8 x 10.5 inches (22.5 x 26.8 cm).
Serrano joined the American Ballet Theatre as a principal in 1953, after dancing with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Bruhn, while a fixture of the Royal Danish Ballet, took several sabbaticals from the company in the early 1950's to dance with the American Ballet Theatre.
