An original engraved visiting card from the important composer, inscribed and signed on the verso with a short note, signed "Dvorak." Prague, September 28, 1883. Translated from the German, in part: "Dear Herr Haik, the bearer of this card is a music teacher from France, Henri de la Mettrie, and asks me for recommendations to families [...] If that should not work, he asks for support [...]." On the recto, Dvorak has inscribed and addressed the card to a Herr Haik. Very fine. 3.75 x 2.25 inches (9.8 x 5.6 cm).
