Belgian violinist Ovide Musin toured internationally in the late nineteenth century, moving among the same circles as Franck, Saint-Saëns, Fauré, Jules Verne, Emile Zola and others, and was the dedicatee of Saint-Saëns' Morceau de concert pour violon op. 62.
