Vintage sepia glossy photograph in the title role of Gounod's Faust, the role in which he sang his last operatic performance, in San Francisco on 1 April 1960.  Boldly signed with his name alone.  In fine condition, lower margin slightly trimmed, with slight rippling, mounting remnants to verso where dated April 25, 1949 in an unknown hand. 8 x 9.8 inches; 20 x 25 cm.
