Callas starred as Norma with veteran mezzo Ebe Stignani as Adalgisa, in a performance which also featured the young Joan Sutherland as Clotilde. 4 pp. Mounting remnants on last page; overall in fine condition. 8.5 x 11.25 inches (21.6 x 28.5 cm).

Callas' London debut as Norma was captured on recording, showcasing the diva in top vocal form. Callas and the London public had what she herself called "a love affair", and she returned to the Royal Opera House in 1953, 1957, 1958, 1959, and 1964 to 1965. It was also at the Royal Opera House where in 1965 Callas ended her stage career in the role of Tosca.
