Signed postcard photograph of the important violinist, composer and conductor, dated 1906. Ysaÿe is shown holding his violin in a relaxed pose, and has signed at the head: "Remembrance of E. Ysaÿe / 1906." Addressed and postmarked on the verso in Ysaÿe's hand to a Miss Mabel Rose. Area of ink smudging to the signature; corner creases; overall very good. 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm). 

Carl Flesch called Ysaÿe "the most outstanding and individual violinist I have ever heard in my life," and he was the dedicatee of many major works from Debussy, Saint-Saens, Franck, Chausson and others.
