Superb collection of 14 unsigned original vintage photographs, showing Bernstein the piano, at the Young People's Concerts (with William Warfield), at the podium, with his family, with Japanese Gagaku musicians etc. In various sizes and formats from 5X7 to 9X12, dated 1947 - 1962. The photos are in mostly good condition; a 9x12 picturing him "with his new bride," is heavily creased at the top. Some of the other photos have various light creasing and buckling, but otherwise are good. Several have captions that allude to his composing a Broadway musical, most likely "West Side Story."
