The complete set of song-sheet covers for music by Claude Terrasse, with lyrics by Franc-Nohain and Alfred Jarry, issued in marvelous lithographic covers by Jarry and Pierre Bonnard. In all, there are six covers by Bonnard and three by Jarry, who also contributed lyrics to Ubu Roi. The Théatre des Pantins was the creation of Jarry, Franc-Nohain, and Terrasse and in 1898 the site of marionette performances of Jarry's "Ubu Roi." Bonnard, the brother-in-law of Terrasse, created designs both for the marionettes and the scenery. A fine set of very good impressions of this rare publication.
