[Jazz & Song] [Garland, Judy. (1922–1969)] Miller, Mitch. (1911–2010). Telegram Regarding Judy Garland.

A February 3, 1954 Western Union telegram from band leader Mitch Miller to Judy Garland's second husband Sid Luft, at this time with Warner Bros. The message reads: "Tried to reach you during the week but couldn't make connections. Paul Weston [band leader] has material for Judy to record. He will get in touch with you. As soon as date is set up I will be glad to fly out to supervise. All the best to you and Judy." Nothing came of this proposed collaboration, probably because Warner Bros. released Luft and Garland due to the poor box office returns of 'A Star Is Born.' 1 page, oblong 4to. File holes at top.
