The sketch is for the costume of Golaud in the 1953 Metropolitan Opera productions, conducted by Pierre Monteux and with Martial Singher in this role. 11.75 X 9 inches and very fine condition. Most of Amistead's designs for this production are held at the Harvard Theatre Collection.
