Original program from a 1949 Vienna concert of the great Belgian violinist and French cellist, boldly signed by both across the list of works, which includes the Bach violin concerto in E major, the Dvorak cello concerto, and the Brahms double concerto. The two soloists appeared with the Wiener Symphoniker under Franz Litschauer. The program is nicely fitted to a mounting page (not affixed) with reproductions of signed photographs of Grumiaux and Gendron. A great item uniting these two towering figures of twentieth-century string playing, in fine condition. Program approx. 6 x 8.5 inches (15 x 21.3 cm); total size 8.25 x 11.5 inches (21 x 29.7 cm) when folded. Grumiaux is quite scare in this format.
