Original "Triplex Portrait" photograph of the great composer, shown in three slightly different poses within an ornate border. This well-known portrait was taken by Berlin court photographer O. Brasch, ca. 1889; this printing was issued in 1897 and is embossed with the year at the lower right corner. The photographer's insignia are reproduced as part of the border design. One very small surface stain at the upper left; adhesive mounting remnants from a recent mounting on the verso; overall in fine condition. 6.5 x 4.25 inches (16.7 x 10.8 cm).
