Signed photograph of the Austrian soprano, a success in coloratura roles in Vienna, Munich, and Leipzig in the 1920's and 1930's before fleeing Nazi Germany to the United States in the 1940's. She is shown in an elegant portrait photograph by J. Abresch of New York and has inscribed in white ink (translated from the German): "To Maestro Winkler, the fabulous conductor with whom I worked so wonderfully, with my best wishes, Ella Flesch." In very fine condition. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm).
