Knocker, Editha. . Signed Photograph. A very unusual signed photograph from the important violin pedagogue, a student of Joachim who was later the teaching assistant of Leopold Auer. Among her students, was Sidney Griller (of the Griller Qt). Founder and leader of the "York Symphony" for many years, she published several original works on aspects of violin playing, and also issued an important translation of the Leopold Mozart "Versuch einer grundlichen Violinschule."
