Léon Jean Jacquard (1826–1886) was the cellist of the Arminguad-Jacquard Quartet, founded in 1855 with Lalo as violist, and Armingaud and Lapret, violins. Lalo dedicated his Allegro pour piano et violoncelle (1856) to Jacquard.
Lalo married contralto Julie-Marie-Victoire Vernier de Maligny, who had been a student of his, in 1865.
