Milstein is seen showing off his violin, presumably the 1716 ‘Goldman’ Stradivari, which he later renamed the ‘Marie-Thérèse’ after his wife and daughter. Stamped on the verso by the United Seamen's Service. Some very light corner creases, but overall very fine. 10 x 8 inches (25.5 x 20.8 cm).
