[Wieniawski, Henri. (1835–1880)] Sutcliffe, Jasper. & Zarda, Napoleone.. Two Autograph Musical Quotations. Two autograph musical quotations mounted together on a single sheet. The first is a quotation of nine measures from Wieniawski's Légende for violin and orchestra op. 17, signed and inscribed by British violinist Jasper Sutcliffe and dated December 14, 1899. The second quotation is from a song with the text "The dream is past, the fancy over," signed by composer Napoleone Zarda (a professor at the Guildhall School of Music in the early twentieth century). Overall size 8 x 6.5 inches (20.3 x 16.3 cm).
