Ceramic and metal hardware. Height: 11¼ in. [28.5 cm]. In very fine condition, the ceramic stable and all of the elements present. Some studio staining to the reverse, very slightly dirty overall, but with the colors presenting nicely. Complete with a removable knob.

Conceived circa 1955 and produced by the Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company, New York in collaboration with Corning Glass Works, New York, a remarkable item from the French artist best known for his brightly colored, cubist- and machine-age–influenced abstractions.
