Fleisher, Leon. (1928–2020). Early Recital Program.
Bifold recital program from an early performance by the great pianist and pedagogue, given at an unidentified venue in the Seattle area as part of the 1955–56 season.  The performance included pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Debussy, and Chopin.  4 pp.  In fine condition.  6.25 x 9.5 inches (15.9 x 24.1 cm.).

In 1964, after making a remarkable series of recordings with George Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra, Fleisher lost the use of his right hand due to focal dystonia.  He continued performing and recording, focusing on and expanding repertoire for the left hand.  In the mid-2000s, through a combination of therapy and botox injections, he regained control of his right hand, expanding back into two-handed repertoire.
