Autograph signature from the English contralto, one of the most popular singers in Europe from the 1890s through the 1920s.  Butt has signed using her married name, "Clara Butt-Rumford / July 24th 1925" in black ink to an autograph album leaf.  Light stain to upper left corner, else in fine condition.  6.25 x 5.25 inches (15.9 x 13.3 cm.). Sold together with a period postcard photograph of the singer.
