Signed photograph of the English musician who starred as Frederic in the tour of Joseph Papp's Tony Award–winning 1981 New York Shakespeare Festival production of The Pirates of Penzance. Noone has inscribed "To Paul / Cheers! / Peter Noone" above a small self-portrait. A press release affixed to verso announces the beginning of a six week run of the production at the Shubert Theatre in Boston. In fine condition. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

From the library of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
