Signed 1959 Columbia Pictures promotional photograph of the two-time Golden Globe Award–winning American actress, who has inscribed "To Paul, / Best Wishes, / Kim Novak."  In fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (25.4 x 20.3 cm.). 

One of the biggest movie stars of the 1950s and 60s, Novak is best known for her role in the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock classic Vertigo.  She began to withdraw from acting in 1966, appearing only sporadically in films until her final film appearance in 1991. 

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
