Neveu, Ginette. (1919 – 1949). Extremely Rare Signed Program . The program included Ravel's "Tzigane" and Chausson's "Poeme," both of which Neveu recorded and which are regarded as definitive performances by many to be the greatest on record. The brilliant French violinist died tragically at the age of 30 in a plane crash on her way to the US for a concert tour. Neveu signed items are uncommon and programs signed by her and her brother, the pianist Jean Neveu (who perished with her), are extremely scarce.
