One of the most well-known piano methods of the period, by the important pedagogue who was the teacher of Kalkbrenner and the father of the opera composer, Adolphe Adam. The present volume consists of the "Choix de Morceaux dans les différens Caractères et Mouvemens [!]“, and includes early printings of works by Mozart, Clementi, D. Scarlatti, C.P. E. Bach, Adam, Händel and J.S. Bach.
