Jochum, Eugen. (1902–1987). Signed Photograph in Concert Program. Signed program for a concert of the "Bayeriches [sic] Rundfunk Orchester" at the Salle Pleyel, Paris, on February 11, 1955.  Signature of the German conductor to the first page, below his photograph portrait.  Green cover with mounted photograph of the orchestra on stage with Jochum facing the audience and lettering in gilt.  12.25 x 9.5 inches (31.5 x 24 cm).  Vertical crease; slightly foxed; else in fine condition.

Together with a ticket for the concert.  

Jochum founded the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1949 and directed it until 1960.  He mostly performed the German classics; in the present concert, Beethoven's Egmont overture and Sixth and Seventh Symphonies were heard.
