Grumiaux, Arthur. (1921–1986) & Swarowsky, Hans. (1899–1975). Signed Program. Signed bifolium (paginated 19–22) removed from a program of a concert of the Association Philharmonique of Lyon, France, February 5, 1956.   The signature of the Belgian violinist and conductor is on page 20.  Another signature next to it is that of Austrian conductor Hans Swarowsky, not of Carl Schuricht, the conductor billed in the program; it appears that Schuricht had to be replaced at short notice.  9.5 x 6 inches (24 x 15 cm).  Horizontal fold; slightly browned; else in fine condition.

"Grumiaux's high reputation has been enhanced by numerous recordings including unaccompanied Bach sonatas, famous sets of Mozart and Beethoven sonatas in partnership with Clara Haskil, Mozart concertos, and Beethoven string trios performed by the ensemble he formed with Georges Janzer (viola) and Eva Czako (cello). His playing combined purity, strength and classical elegance with a disciplined fire." Robert Crichton in Grove Music Online
