Garcia, Manuel. (1805-1906). Scuola di Garcia. Trattato Completo dell'Arte del Canto. Parte Prima, Seconda.. Milan: Giovanni Ricordi, Tito di G. Ricordi. ca. 1847. Parte Prima. Tradotta dal Francese da Alberto Mazzucato. Edizione Seconda Riveduta e Correta dal Tradutore. Milan. Tito di Gio. Ricordi. 34,5x25,3 cm; XIV, 67, (1) pp. Engraved. [PN] 13081. Marble boards with original green wrapper affixed to front. Edges a little rough, with scattered foxing throughout. It appears that this edition was printed largely using the original engraved plates, which begin after the letterpress introduction. The various revisions and corrections are printed by and large with letterpress and are interspersed among the earlier engraved pages, though sometimes additional material is actually printed on the verso of original engraved pages. Very unusual!
