A fine signed original photograph from the great Czech-born Hungarian violinist, a Sevcik student who went on to have a major international career for over four decades. Signed and inscribed in 1933 to the legendary English theatre and music impresario, Harold Fielding (1914-2003). 15 X 20.5 cm. Partially creased, otherwise fine.


This photograph originates from the years during which Fielding was transitioning out of concert performance as a violinist (he had been a Szigeti student in Paris from the age of ten) and beginning to be a concert presenter and manager. In addition to Kubelik, Fielding's clients included Richard Tauber, Beniamino Gigli and Paul Robeson.
