The performance advertises the "Last Night But One, And Third Public Appearance in this Country of Carl Maria Von Weber." Under the auspices of George Smart's "Grand Performance of Ancient and Modern Music," the composer conducted a large selection of pieces from his opera "Der Freischütz," as well as conducting and accompanying other works on the pianoforte. Among others, the great singers assembled included Elizabeth Vestris and John Braham. In very fine condition, nicely matted to 28 X 44.5 cm overall. Rare.

By the time Weber arrived in London in 1826, he was already suffering from tuberculosis. He died there less than three months after the performance advertised on the present broadside.
