This remarkable archive includes eight autograph signed letters from Isaac Stern as well as many 1960s retained carbon copies of correspondence between Stern and his secretary, his wife Vera, his accountant, manager, and Sir Isaiah Berlin; also contains publicity photos by Hurok Attractions (Stern's managing agency), candid photos by his secretary, concert programs, family holiday cards, a typed manuscript speech delivered to the American Jewish Cultural Foundation. Various sizes, largest 11 X 8.5 inches. Bold and unfaded penmanship on letters written and/or signed by Stern, typed carbon copies show light aging, edge stains and corner bumps. Generally very good.
