A rare New York City Ballet Program, boldly signed on the front cover by dancer/choreographer George Balanchine, as well as by eight of the great principal NYCB dancers who created some of his most important dances: Jacques d'Amboise, Edward Villella, Arthur Mitchell, Patricia Wilde, Melissa Hayden, Allegra Kent, Nicholas Magallanes, and Francisco Moncion. The August 27, 1959 program included performances by these dancers and others of Balanchine's "Swan Lake," "Allegro Brillante," "Apollo," "Western Symphony," "Pas de Trois (Glinka)," and "Stars and Stripes." In very fine condition, highly unusual to find all of these signatures together.
