An exceptionally clean and fine expanded reissue of this scarce and popular Methode, which as Frey explains in the "Avis de l'Editeur," had originally been issued in too few copies to satisfy the great demand. Martinn was a violinst at the Opera Italien in Paris and violin professor at the Lycee Charlemagne.
