Complete sequence of the first seven books of "Songs without words" with two-colour covers in lithographic reprints of the first engraved editions. An 8th volume appeared only posthumously in 1868. The volumes bound in the order of 1, 6, 7, 2-5, as follows: 1. op. 19 (after 1851) [PN] 3041; 2nd op. 30 (after 1835) [PN] 3204; 3 op. 38 (1837) [PN] 3383; 4. op. 53 (?) [PN] 3935 ;5 op. 62 (1844) [PN] 4343 ;6 op. 67 (1845) [PN] 4478 ;7 op. 85 (No. 14 of posthumous works) [PN] 4967.

In generally fine condition, scattered light spotting, first sheet reinforced along the inner edge, an additional earlier printing of the first volume in fairly shabby condition, is also included.
