Chopin, Frédéric. (1810–1849). Grand Concerto. (Mi-Mineur) pour Pianoforte avec Accompagnement d’Orchestre. Op. 11.. Leipzig: Fr. Kistner. [1866-7].
Partition. Fr. 71/2 Thlr. [Full score]. [PN] 3050. Octavo. 1f. (title), 3-350 pp. Title engraved, music lithographed. In original green printed wrappers. Moderate to significant browning and foxing throughout; front cover detached and torn; small losses to corners not affecting printed score.

A troubled, but nevertheless rare example of the First Edition of the full score. Chominski & Turlo p. 104. WorldCat (2 copies only, at the British Library and the Bibliothèque nationale).

The concerto op. 11 in E minor is considered to be Chopin's first, but it, in fact, post-dates the Concerto op. 21 in F minor.  Composed in 1830, when he was twenty years old. It was first performed on 11 October of that year, at the Teatr Narodowy (the National Theatre) in Warsaw, Poland, with the composer as soloist, during one of his "farewell" concerts before leaving Poland.
