Unusual and striking original press photograph dated December 7, 1947 of the pioneering American modern dancer and choreographer. Press stub on verso explains: "Dancer Martha Graham whose identity as the mysterious "Miss Hush" on the "Truth or Consequences" radio program by Mrs. Ruth Annette Subbie, 45-year-old Fort Worth, Texas, housewife, won for the latter prizes estimated at $21,500, an all-time high in radio giveaways. Miss Graham is shown at her apartment in New York's Greenwich Village, from which she gave clues on the radio program every Saturday night since October 13, the main clue being a jingle."  A few small abrasions, clippings and stickers on verso, else fine. 6.5 x 8.5 inches; 16.5 x 21.5 cm.
